Helen Ceri Clarke

Welsh Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Swansea East

Helen Ceri Clarke is a local campaigner from Morriston, Swansea.

She previously contested the Neath constituency for the Assembly in 2003.

She is an active campaigner in the Swansea East area and in the last local elections she narrowly missed out winning a seat in Morriston off Labour, polling over 1440 votes.

A former traffic warden in the area, she now works for Peter Black AM as a caseworker. Helen has also worked as a special needs one-to-one classroom support, an administrator for the Welsh Liberal Democrats and in sales for a polythene company.

Helen has been an active member of the Liberal Democrats for five years and is currently chair of both Swansea and Gower Liberal Democrats and Swansea East Liberal Democrats. She has held posts on the partys policy committee and national executive committee.

Her interests include reading, rock music, reality tv, films and her three cats. She lives in Vicarage Road, Morriston with her husband, Jonathan and son, Elis.
